Fact: Big Mountain and extreme Backcountry riders are a different breed and we’re behind you folks 100%. The proof’s in the gear design: Backcountry riders are often buried up to your goatees in champagne powder, so you need a pullover without a neck-to-waist zipper. Likewise, big mountain riders need a softshell that stretches with your every move, allowing you to weave trees and carve giant, flowing lines into the mountainside without binding up. We’ve answered the call in both designs. All told, it’s almost like we at Arctic Cat have a soft spot for big mountain, backcountry throw-downs ourselves. Hmmm . . . there might be something to that.
